2G Shutdown

The 2G cutoff date is approaching soon, and your action is required!

We know you’re busy and sometimes things get forgotten or set aside for later.  I’m writing to let you know that later has arrived, and the shutdown date for the 2G cellular radio network is upon us.

As the cellular providers are gearing up to shutdown this network, we are working diligently to ensure that everyone affected is notified so they can take action to keep their alarm monitoring online.  Indeed, some areas have already replaced cell tower equipment and have knocked existing subscribers offline.  The 2G network will be completely shutdown but the end of 2016.

If you choose not to have this upgrade performed, time will eventually run out and your alarm system will go offline.  At that time, we’ll have no choice but to cancel your monitoring service, because alarm signals will no longer be able to reach the central station. There is no point in paying for something that doesn’t work.

Please call us at 630-554-7878 and schedule an appointment with us.  We’ll be happy to hear from you!
